Does anyone know who the artist was who designed the pictorial postmark of the coiled rattlesnake for the 2006 issue? The answer is probably in plain sight in John Wells' book, but I can't seem to find it. Steve Altic.

The 2024 designs are very attractive. I especially like the waterspout headed toward RI on the 75 cent and the eclipse on the 50 cent. Kudos to the Postmaster General and the Artist.

I recently obtained a sheet of the 1966 2nd Printing of the 25c stamp. It is definitely not as light as the first printing, but it appears slightly lighter than other 2nd Printing examples I have of the same stamp. Does anyone know if there were variations in the 2nd Printing? Perhaps how it was stored might make a difference, but I would not be surprised to learn there were variations. Thanks. Steve Altic.
