1968 - 10c - Perf Color Error
This pair of plate number pairs came from the same sheet. The top left pair and airplane motif have very faint black and blue color. Bottom right normal.

1969 - 10c - Miss-registered Color Error
This very blurry imperf sheet was discovered on 2-6-2023 in the RILP, inc. Inventory. Note the double images.
1969 - 25c - Miss-registered Color Error
This somewhat blurry perf sheet was discovered on 2-6-2023 in the RILP, inc. Inventory. Note the 25c printings.
1973- 25c - Perf - Missing Black Color Error
This very rare sheet must have stuck to another sheet when traveling through the black ink press. It clearly is missing black. Discovered 2-6-23 RILP inventory
1966 - RSI-2 - Color Shift Error
This 19966 1st printing shows a very strong shift of the green color to the right and downvery greenish imperf sheet was discovered on 2-19-2023 in the RILP, Inv.
1970 - 5c - Blue Color Shift Error
This sheet has a miss-registered blue shift slightly to the left and down. Discovered in RILP Inc. inventory 2-19-2023.
1970 - 5c - Red Color Shift Error
This sheet has a miss-registered red shift slightly to the left and down. Discovered in RILP Inc. inventory 2-19-2023.
1970 - 10c - Stray Orange Blobs Error
This is rather interesting as it appears some stray blobs of orange ink landed on the sheet. Found 2-19-2023 in RILP Inv.
1970 - 25c - Yellow Color Shift Error
This sheet has a miss-registered yellow strong shift to the right. Discovered in RILP Inc. inventory 2-19-2023.
1970 - 25c - Red & Yellow Color Shift Error
This sheet has a miss-registered red & yellow strong shift downward. Discovered in RILP Inc. inventory 2-19-2023.
1971 - 10c - Stray Orange Blob Error - On Stamp #1
This is rather interesting as it appears a stray blob of orange ink landed on the UL sheet. Found 3-2-2023 in RILP Inv.
1971 - 25c - Yellow Color Printed on Back Side Error
This is the only back(gum) side of sheet errors I found to date. Complete yellow printing on back and normal on front. Discovered in RILP Inc. inv. 3-2-2023.

Perforation Errors
Through re-reading John Wells' book I noticed on page 105 that the Mueller Printing Co. of Cleveland printed the issues from 1966 to 1972. Then the Great Lakes Litho. Co. did the issues from 1973 to 1989. While studying the perf errors they were all in the 1966 - 1972 issues and would be impossible to occur with using a die. I believe the early issues with so many errors were done on an in-line perforating machine. And, that after 1973 to 1989 & 2005-2010 were perforated with a die. I'm also suggesting that in 1973 when Great Lakes Litho. Co. took over printing that they may have still sent the stamps out to who ever did the perforating on past issues. Through my limited experience, I found there are printing companies and print finishing companies that perforate, bind, fold, and preform other non-printing paper related services.

Bottom left perf of sheet has extra line of perfs and was discovered on 2-6-2023 in the RILP, inc. Inventory.
1968 - 5c - Extra Perf Line Error - DL6 (diagonal left 6)
This perf sheet has an extra stray line of perfs in the upper right part of the sheet. Discovered 2-6-2023 in RILP inventory.
1969 - 10c - Missing H2 Perf Error (H2 = Horizontal line 2)
This perf sheet is missing the 2nd horizontal line of perfs in the upper half of the sheet. Discovered 2-
6-2023 in RILP inventory.
1969 - 5c - Missing DR4 Perf Error (DR4 = diagonal right 4)
This perf sheet is missing the 4th right diagonal line of perfs in the lower right half of the sheet. Discovered 2-6-2023
in RILP inventory.
1969 - 5c - Double perf DR3 Perf Error (DR3 = diagonal right 3)
This perf sheet has a double line perforation on the 3rd right diagonal line of perfs that is on a different angle. Discovered 2-6-23 in RILP inventory.
1973 - 25c - Perf - Extra Row of Perfs Error - H0
This sheet has a stray row of perforations running along the top edge of the sheet. Discovered 2-6-23 RILP inventory
1973 - 25c - perf - Extra DR6 Diagonal Row of Perfs Error
This sheet has a stray diagonal row of perforations running along the lower right of the sheet. Discovered 2-6-23 RILP inventory
1976 - 20c - Perf - Alignment of DR3 Perfs on Angle Error
This perforated sheet has the middle right diagonal perfs DR3 out of alignment. Some of the other diagonal perfs are somewhat too. Discovered 2-6-2023.
1970 - 5c - Tore Sheet With All Diagonal Perfs Shifted
This is a tore sheet appears to have had the horizontal perfs applied and then tore and shifted in the small stack when applying diagonal perfs.Found 2-19-23 RILP inv.

2008 - 25c - Imperf Date Error
This is the only error I have found on the 2005-2010 issues. The upper half imperf sheet has 2 date errors. One is 2007 & other is 20087. Discovered on Jan.of 2022 in the RILP, inc. Inventory.
