First Day of Issue (FDC) Aug 27, 2026 featuring the $2.00 special anniversary stamps both Perf. 12 & Imperf.. They are flown off the Island by Griffing Flying Service and cancelled at the Liberty Aviation Museum by the Port Clinton Post Office with the Tin Goose Pictorial Postmark.
 
This FDC features:

And a Piper Plane with "VIA LOCAL POST" on the back of the envelope.

Purple Diamond Cancel - perf & imperf stamps
This is the first time a purple cancel has been used in decades.
It only made sense to use purple when cancelling a perf stamp normally with blue and an imperf
stamp normally with red so combining the two makes purple.
