"Island Birds Through the Seasons"

The Biggest Week in American Birding is a 10-day festival in northwest Ohio, The Warbler Capital of the World, May 9th-18th, 2025. This is a perfect time to announce the RILP 2025 issue -"Island Birds Through the Seasons" . Beth Lynne Gregerson is designing this year's issue featuring a hummingbird on the 50 cent stamp, a barn swallow on the 75 cent stamp, and a bald eagle on the $1.00 stamp. Backgrounds will feature various Rattlesnake Island landmarks. The unveiling will be at G.A.S.S. on Friday August 15th and the first day of issue for the bird issue

will be Sept. 10th, 2025. Pre-orders will open in mid August on RILP.ORG.

Work also continues on the RILP Catalog. The main section is laid out and proofs have been well received. Next will be the First Day Cover (FDC) section followed by the errors section. Other possible sections, time willing, autographed items and misc items such as order forms, post cards, Christmas cards, Tri-Motor ride tickets, etc. I will be posting some pages examples later this month.
