2023 "Battle of Lake Erie" issue unveiled at G.A.S.S. yesterday.

In a very attended ceremony, Scott English from the APS, MC'd the unveiling ceremony at the

Great American Stamp Show yesterday. Here are the Rattlesnake Island Local Post's latest issue.

These new stamps will be available for purchase after the "first Day of Issue" on 9-10-23 on the Rattlesnake Island. Next week the RILP.ORG online store will be ready to accept pre-orders.

Below is the artist & stamp designer Beth Gregerson talking about the 6 different years of RILP stamp issues she had designed.

After the on-stage presentation, Scott, Beth, and myself were signing a special ceremony postcards

given to the attendees. There was quite an impressive line waiting for our autographs.

We thank all that visited the show and show as well as our booth the first 2 days of the show and look forward to meeting more Rattlesnake Island Local Post collectors today and tomorrow. I will be sitting at booth #716 eager to meet and talk all about the interesting local post.

The next stamp show I will be attending with the new "Battle of Lake Erie" stamps and covers will be in October at the Cuy-LorPex stamp show. More info to follow. Till the next blog enjoy the beautiful triangles and hexagons!

Sorry I wasn't there for the presentation. These three stamps are a very handsome design. I am sure Dr. Frackelton would much approve.
